The fourth annual Kew Garden Community Arts Day on Sunday drew crowds eager to see the various works across many mediums. For most of the day, 24 Queens-based artists sold their original pieces along Austin Street, Lefferts Boulevard, Grenfell Street, Cuthbert Street and 83rd Avenue.

Art pieces included watercolor paintings, sketches, acrylic painting, foil sculptures, pottery, fence art and more.

Besides shopping, musicians played Broadway tunes and Spanish melodies at the Kew Gardens Cinemas Park and The Potter’s Wheel gave a demonstration. Visitors also enjoyed interactive storytime and a virtual reality installation that aimed to spark discussion on how to combat New York City’s garbage problem.

From the sidewalk chalk art to homemade wood art crafted over the summer, children also had a chance to show off their artistic side as well.
